There are two aspects of system maintenance.
- General operational procedures.
- Annual site based maintenance schedules.
Every type of waste treatment system requires some form of maintenance procedures to be undertaken on a regular basis. The most successful long term systems are normally those that require simple what would be called normal general cleaning and maintenance steps.
The Hybrid toilet system has been designed with low levels of maintenance as a requirement and the fact that the required steps can be undertaken by people who have little more than basic knowledge of its operation.
The normal regular cleaning procedure is as simple as cleaning the toilet bowl and the cubicle in general.
Note. It is important to remember not to place anti-bacterial cleaners into the system. It is however allowable to use these products to clean the exterior of the toilet pedestal and surrounds without any ill effects on the system.
The introduction of the Powered rotary ventilator has removed the need for the removal cleaning and or replacement of the in-line fan.
Please refer to the Owner's Manual for a comprehensive instruction on cleaning procedures.
