Site Based Maintenance

Hybrid Toilet System Annual Site Based Maintenance Plan

This information refers to a site based maintenance schedule tailored specifically around your system. The schedule is what we the manufacturer believe is desirable to be undertaken on annual basis to maintain the unit in the best possible operating condition. The system will continue to function well if maintained properly by the owner, however it will begin to deteriorate if these maintenance steps are not kept up. By following these simple but detailed steps on an annual basis it will offer the best performance in the long term.

Caution

Undertaking of this maintenance plan does not relieve the owner of the responsibility of performing normal general maintenance and cleaning.

Wearing Parts and Consumables

On this annual basis we recommend changing out of some wearing parts. This approach ideally will lead to a minimum of breakdowns occurring during the next year of operation. Items we recommend replacing on busy commercial systems are hand and foot diaphragms and the small rubber non return valves in the diaphragm pumps. This items are site specific. At this visit we recommend inoculation of unit above normal loading rate if required.

Who should do this?

The works should be carried out by a trained Gough Plastics person and or of their agent. These are people who have experience and training in the operation and function of these systems.

Interval

Annual unless otherwise required.

When?

For example. The Christmas holiday period is the peak sustained period. The works ideally should be carried out in November in preparation for this period.

Works Instructions

There is a specific program prepared precisely around each individual unit. Each major component grouping of the system is identified and separate work schedules generated around them.

Written instructions with recording sections are provided for each unit.

It is a requirement that the maintenance person is take digital photographs of each step of the works. This gives proof of work and allows for trouble shooting if required. It also provides source material to build the detail library on each individual unit.

Reporting

When the works have been completed a summary report is prepared and presented to the client along with the invoice for payment.

Should you wish to receive further information re this annual program please contact your local agent.

Note. It is a requirement under Victorian legislation that all Hybrid Toilet systems sold in Victoria shall have an annual site based maintenance schedule included.
